In addition, Demand Analytix can automatically estimate and chart the number of "new" customers placing orders versus the number of "existing" customers. Demand Analytix steps closer to being able to correlate between forecasted sales qualified leads and demand forecasts. Many companies establish marketing objectives for the number of new sales leads and sales qualified leads based on company financial objectives. They forecast the marketing metrics based on actual leads results and their marketing plans.
After multiplying the forecast for qualified leads by a win/loss rate multiplier and an estimate for average bookings per customer, they attempt to predict future sales demand. If their forecasts fall under the company's revenue objectives, they iterate their marketing plan in an attempt to close the gap.
With Demand Analytix's new tools, marketers are better informed about the trend in customers attainment with breakdown between new and existing customers. Then they could use the first drilldown to view more details about one product family. For example, they could view bookings for that product family in each Region.
With the new Double Drilldown, the user can then drill down into a specific Region to view its customers and to also see how many customers per month ordered any product within the product family.
